Punjab Highway Department invites sealed competitive bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for construction of three road projects in Kasur District, Punjab. The tender encompasses road construction works from Gohar Jageer Pul to Piar with a taken-up length of 3.65 kilometers (estimated cost 92.156 million rupees), from Tatara via Janga Singh to Sardar Road spanning 7.00 kilometers (estimated cost 178.011 million rupees), and from Bher Sodia to Daokay via Village Bia Singh Wala with a taken-up length of 5.70 kilometers (estimated cost 173.484 million rupees). Each project has a completion period of six months and includes earthwork, sub-base course, base course, and road edging works with specifications for mechanized pavement laying and concrete batching plants.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories with valid renewed PEC licenses for the financial year 2025-26. All bidders are required to register on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) and submit earnest money exclusively as a CDR (Crossed Demand Draft) at five percent of the estimated cost in favor of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Kasur. The successful lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance guarantee of ten percent of the contract amount within fifteen days in the form of CDR, bank draft, cashier cheque, pay order, or bank guarantee valid for three months beyond completion time.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA e-tendering portal at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.aspx. Sealed bids must be submitted half an hour before the tender opening date of June 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with original CDR presented simultaneously. The tender opening will be held at the office of the Commissioner, Lahore Division, where responsive bids will be downloaded and successful bidder rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Contractors must quote item rates for each pay item; rates quoted as percentages above or below estimated cost will be rejected as non-responsive.
