Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Employees' Social Security Institution (PESSI) invites sealed electronic bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for eight miscellaneous civil works projects across multiple locations in Punjab. The procurement is conducted through the PPRA E-Procurement system under PPRA E-PADS rules. The projects include rehabilitation works at DSS Sahiwal (estimated cost Rs. 5.58 million), special repair works at SSH Taunsa (Rs. 3.83 million), rehabilitation works at SSH Gujrat (Rs. 11.20 million), establishment of operation theatre and labour room facilities at SSH Kasur (Rs. 3.5 million), supply and installation of air conditioners at CMSD Defence Road Lahore (Rs. 4.76 million), overhauling and relocation of a 200-KVA Perkin generator from Multan to Kasur (Rs. 4.825 million), construction of boundary wall and security infrastructure at SSH Rahimyar Khan (Rs. 59.36 million), and upgradation of nursing hostel and daycare centre at SSTH Multan Road Lahore (Rs. 3.25 million). The total project scope spans infrastructure development and facility upgrades across healthcare and administrative facilities throughout Punjab province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories and must possess valid social security contribution certificates updated within the last six months. All firms and contractors must maintain active social security deduction documents. Bidders are required to upload scanned copies of bid security at five percent of the estimated project cost in the form of bank guarantees favoring the Commissioner PESSI, with original guarantee documents submitted to the Director (Works) office on or before the tender closing date. False information, fake guarantees, or tender fraud will result in disqualification and debarment from future PESSI tenders, with cases referred to Federal Investigation Agency for legal action.
Interested bidders must download complete bidding documents including detailed specifications and instructions from the PPRA website (https://eprocure.gov.pk) from the publication date. All bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS platform before the closing date and time of 11:30 AM on 18 June 2026; no hardcopy bids will be accepted. Tender opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM. Online rates for each work item must be quoted on the PPRA E-PADS website before bid submission.
