Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department, Khanki Division LCC (East) Khanki Wazirabad, invites sealed bids for the auction of toll tax collection rights at Khanki Barrage in District Wazirabad and Gujranwala for the financial year 2026-27. This is a contract-based procurement for the operation and collection of toll taxes at the barrage with a reserve price of Rs 5,226,800 (Rupees Five Million Two Hundred Twenty Six Thousand Eight Hundred only) at Rs 14.32 per day, excluding all applicable taxes. The contract will remain valid for 365 days with effect from 01.07.2026 to 30.06.2027. Possession of the toll plaza will be handed over after approval of rates from the competent authority and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Eligible bidders must furnish the Deposit at Rs 261,340 (05 percent of estimated amount) in favor of the Executive Engineer Khanki Division. Bidders are required to provide attested copies of specimen signatures, national identity card, partnership deed if applicable, and power of attorney. A bank guarantee with validity up to 30.09.2027 equal to 10 percent of the total bid amount is mandatory within seven days of acceptance letter issuance. Contract documents are available on Cash Payment of Rs 2,000 (Two Thousand only) on non-refundable basis. Tenders will be levied on vehicles as per the approved schedule notified by the Government of Punjab Irrigation Department.
Sealed bids will be received and opened at the Office of the undersigned in the presence of the Committee with receipt on 22.06.2026 at 2:00 PM and opening at 2:30 PM. If the tender process is unsuccessful, alternate dates are 23.06.2026 and 27.06.2026 at the same times. The successful bidder must deposit cash installments on the first working day of each calendar month in the shape of cash payment only; cheques are not acceptable.
