Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering Division-II Mirpur, under the Physical Planning & Housing Department of the Azad Government of Jammu & Kashmir, invites electronic bids for the supply and installation of new machinery for a proposed tube well in Mirpur, AJK. The estimated cost of the project is 15.870 Million Pakistani Rupees, with a completion period of six months. This procurement is undertaken through single stage two envelope e-bidding system in accordance with AJK PPRA Rules 36(b), and the work falls under the specialized code category C-5 and above with ME07/EE10 classification.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with current Valid Tax Status from the FBR. For machinery work, bidders must demonstrate prior experience by completing at least one similar contract valued at 20 million rupees or more during the last three years. Bidders are required to submit bid security of 0.500 Million rupees from a scheduled bank operating in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Black-listed firms and contractors are not permitted to participate, and bidders must furnish an affidavit confirming they have no involvement in conflict with government in any territory of Pakistan.
Interested bidders should obtain bidding documents from the office of the Executive Engineer PHE Division-II Mirpur during office hours or download from https://cwdtenders.ajk.gov.pk. Technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically by 30 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Hard copies of original bank receipts confirming bid security deposits, along with complete bidding documents duly signed and stamped by the contractor, must be submitted within 48 hours of technical bid opening at the office of the Executive Engineer. Drawing design details are available from the office of Executive Engineer PWD PHE Division-II Mirpur. Bidders are advised to visit installation sites before bid submission. Complete specification technical data brochures must accompany proposals, and electronic bidding shall be conducted on a percentage above or below cost basis on the MRS Rate for the financial year 2025-26 to 30 June 2026, with bids quoted to two decimal places only.
