Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Jahanian, under the Health & Population Department of Punjab, invites electronic bids through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) for a framework contract covering nine different lots of goods and services for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement comprises medicines and surgical disposables for LP, Zakat and UHI schemes (estimated 10 million), pathology lab items (5 million), general store items (5 million), printing items (4 million), stationery items (3 million), services and maintenance (1 million), IT equipment (1 million), X-ray films and chemicals (3 million), and medical gases and fire extinguisher materials (5 million), with a combined estimated value of 37 million Pakistani rupees. All framework contracts are valid until 30 June 2027 and bidders must be registered with relevant authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and hold professional tax certificates for FY 2026-27 from the Excise & Taxation Department.
Eligible bidders include registered suppliers, manufacturers, firms, associations, sole proprietors, and joint ventures engaged in trading, provided they are not blacklisted by any government department or PPRA. Bidders must submit a scanned 2% bid security document alongside their electronic bid, with the original bid security instrument in the form of CDR or Pay Order submitted physically to the Medical Superintendent's office prior to 19 June 2026. Government-owned enterprises may participate only with proper legal authorization from their competent authority. All bids must comply with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and the single-stage two-envelope procedure as per rule 38(2)(a).
Complete bidding documents are available for download from www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk immediately after publication. Electronic bids must be submitted online at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 20 June 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 11:00 AM. Late bids shall be rejected.
