Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Gujar Khan invites item rate tenders for patch work on the Muharram Route including installation of streetlights in Gujar Khan City, Punjab. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 6,882,000 and is being procured as per MRS 2nd Biannual 2025 market rates and Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. This is a single stage single envelope tender process conducted through the EPADs portal with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 344,100.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC license in category C-6 and above, possess active income tax registration, and maintain active sales tax certification under the relevant authority. The bid security deposit is fixed at 5% of the estimated cost. All bids must include mandatory documentation such as valid PEC license and tax certificates; conditional, incomplete, or doubtful bids will be rejected. If the lowest bidder's quoted rate is equal to or less than 5% of the estimated cost, additional performance security between 5% to 10% must be deposited within 15 days of the Letter of Acceptance.
Bid documents are available on the EPADs portal and PPRA website, with copies also available from the MO (I) Branch for a printing fee of Rs. 5,000. Bids must be submitted electronically on EPADs up to 22-06-2026 at 01:00 PM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 01:30 PM at the Municipal Committee Gujar Khan office in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives. The successful contractor will be required to conduct quality control tests at their own expense and execute a formal agreement within fourteen days of receiving the Letter of Acceptance.
