Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites sealed tenders for replacement of floor tiles in the corridor of the 2nd floor of ESTB Division at Cabinet Block IDB, located in Islamabad, Federal Territory. This is a civil works project with an NIT amount of Rs. 3,975,573 and an earnest money requirement of Rs. 119,270. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of existing floor tiles with new ones in the specified corridor area, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to CDA standards and specifications. The tender is issued under CDA Form W-6 following Central Public Department Code Paragraphs 88-89, and contract documents containing detailed plans, specifications, bill of quantities, and terms and conditions are available for inspection at the CDA Divisional Office during working hours.
Eligible contractors must possess valid registration with relevant authorities, income tax registration certificate, non-relationship certificate, professional tax certificate, and other mandatory documents as specified in the tender notice. Contractors are required to submit security deposit equivalent to 5 percent deduction from monthly payments, and bid security in the form of call deposit. Tenderers must quote rates in both figures and words, and the bid must be submitted in a sealed cover with the work name clearly marked. Convassing in connection with the tender is strictly prohibited and will result in automatic rejection of the tender.
Bid documents can be obtained from the CDA office upon payment of the prescribed amount in cash (non-refundable). Tenders must be placed in sealed covers and submitted to the Director (Works) Office, CDA, Islamabad by 11:30 AM on the specified closing date. Tenders will be opened on the same day at the same time and venue. The CDA reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and is not bound to accept the lowest bid. Contractors are required to submit two copies of tender documents and comply with all submission requirements including power of attorney, partnership deed, programme of work, and firm registration documents. Security deposit will be released only with approval of the CDA Chairman or competent officer one step above the tender accepting authority.
