Description / Scope of Work
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites sealed electronic bids for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap material consisting of all types of meter scrap off-size (crush) totalling 63,105 kilograms. The scrap material is located at SEPCO regional stores in Rohri and Larkana, Sindh Province, with 58,000 kilograms stored at Rohri and 5,105 kilograms at Larkana. This tender is conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0 under national open competitive bidding procedures in accordance with the Disposal of Public Assets Regulations, 2024 (as amended). The disposal is offered on an "as is where is" basis with items sold lot-wise and no disputes entertained thereafter.
Bidders must be tax-registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and may include general public or companies. A bid security of Rs. 2,934,383 (equivalent to 10 percent of the estimated reserve price) is mandatory, to be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee valid for 150 days from the tender opening date. The tender bid value itself must remain valid for 120 days from opening. Bidders can verify and check the material at the respective regional stores during working hours on any business day. Electronic registration on EPADS v2.0 is required; unregistered vendors may register at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ using the provided tutorial.
Bidding documents are available for download on EPADS v2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk and https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Electronic bids must be submitted by 10:30 AM on 29 June 2026; manual bids will not be accepted. Tender opening will occur electronically on the same day at 11:30 AM using EPADS v2.0. Successful bidders must pay the balance amount within 21 working days from the letter of acceptance. All applicable government taxes including income tax and GST are the responsibility of the successful bidder as per FBR policy.
