Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed tenders through EPADS for two major works under the MRS-2025 1st Bi Annual procurement cycle. Work No 01 comprises repair and maintenance of damaged transformers at PK-63 in District Charsadda with an estimated cost of PKR 8 million and bid security of PKR 160,000. Work No 02 involves construction of Masjid Bilal Ray Mahal at UC Harichand Tehsil Tangi in District Charsadda with an estimated cost of PKR 2 million and bid security of PKR 40,000. Both projects are located in Charsadda district and fall under the jurisdiction of Tehsil Tangi. The procurement is conducted through a single-stage single-envelope electronic bidding procedure via the EPADS portal in compliance with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government procurement regulations.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with appropriate category codes: for Work No 01, contractors require PEC codes EE04 and EE05 along with an Inspectorate of Electricity, Energy and Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa license in Category C or E; for Work No 02, PEC codes CE09 and CE10 are mandatory. All bids must include a call deposit of 2 percent of the estimated cost as bid security, with provisions for additional security deposits as per KPPRA notifications. Bid security and additional security details must be submitted electronically through the EPADS system and subsequently through a registered courier to the Assistant Director LG&RDD Tehsil Tangi at the specified address.
Bidding documents are available for download from the official EPADS website at www.portalkp.eprocure.gov.pk immediately after NIT publication. Bids must be submitted through EPADS in electronic format with clear scans and no overwriting or cutting. The submission deadline is 30 June 2026 at 12:00 pm, with electronic bid opening scheduled for 30 June 2026 at 12:30 pm. Online clarification requests must be submitted by 23 June 2026 at 5:00 pm. Bids remain valid for 120 days from the closing date, and only registered PESCO contractors are eligible for Work No 01.
