The Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed public tenders for the supply of various engineering materials and items on a free delivery basis. The procurement categories include multiple specific tender inquiries: LPR-7738/02 for manila water ropes, LPR-11779/03 for filters, LPR-13121 for fire hoses/nozzles, LPR-13343 for specialized tools or hardware, and LPR-13429 for electrodes, all conforming to detailed KSEW technical specifications. This procurement process follows a single-stage two-envelope bidding system, requiring interested active suppliers and contractors to submit separate technical and commercial proposals. Bidding documents can be downloaded online via the official PPRA or KS&EW websites, or physically purchased from the procurement department for a non-refundable tender fee of 2,000 Rupees at least one day before the opening. Complete proposals must be submitted by the closing deadline, after which they will be publicly opened at 11:00 AM on 06 July 2026 in the presence of participating bidders' representatives under the authority of the General Manager of Procurement and Stores
Bidders must be registered with relevant regulatory authorities and hold valid business registration documents and tax clearance certificates. Prospective suppliers should possess proven experience in the supply of industrial spare parts and engineering components, with technical competence certificates from recognized bodies. A bid security deposit is required as per tender specifications, and bidders must meet all mandatory compliance requirements outlined in the tender documents. Preference may be given to local suppliers and vendors registered in Pakistan.

Sealed bids must be submitted by the closing date of 6 July 2026 at 3:30 PM at the KSEW office address in Karachi. Bids will be opened on the same date in the presence of authorized representatives.
