Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Sargodha invites sealed bids for rehabilitation and patch work of Sabzi Mandi Road, Railway Road, and Furniture Market Road in Sargodha, Punjab. This infrastructure project has an estimated value of Rs. 22.17 million and encompasses dismantling and removal of existing road metalling, provision and laying of brick road edging, crushed stone aggregate base course, bituminous priming coat, plant premixed bituminous carpet with four percent bitumen, traffic lane marking, cat eyes installation, and earth filling for side berms. The project scope includes detailed materials and quantities as specified in the bidding documents, with work to be executed to required specifications for camber, grade, and compaction standards.
Bidders must be firms, companies, sole proprietors, general order suppliers, or joint ventures engaged in trading and registered with relevant authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax departments. All bids shall be submitted on a single stage one envelope basis through the EPADS portal on or before the closing date at 1:30 PM. Bid security of five percent of the estimated price is required in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order. Late bids shall be rejected, and bids not compliant with minimum wage rates or excluding applicable taxes and duties will be straightaway rejected.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website and EPADS portal, or can be purchased by submitting a written application to the Municipal Officer (Inf) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 deposited in Bank of Punjab, Club Road, Sargodha, Account No. 38. Bids received on EPADS will be opened on the same day at 2:00 PM in the presence of an appointed committee and contractor representatives. Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Municipal Officer from the date of advertisement until the closing date.
