Description / Scope of Work
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) invites sealed bids under Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure for Ditching/Backfilling & Affiliation Works including excavation of trenches for laying of 63mm PE gas pipelines, soft padding and sand cushioning of hard soil at the Residential Colony District Prison & Correctional Facility in Thatta, Sindh. The project is offered on a complete package basis with an estimated scope as detailed in the Bill of Quantities. Bidders must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Certificate of Category C6 or above with specialization in CE-08. The supplier must be active in the Federal Board of Revenue Active Taxpayer List (ATL) at the time of bid submission.
Eligibility requirements include possession of valid PEC certification as specified above and active FBR registration. A fixed bid bond of Rs. 13,000 (thirteen thousand rupees only) in the form of a pay order or demand draft payable to Sui Southern Gas Company Limited must be submitted with each bid. The bid bond in original form must be deposited at the SSGC Headquarters Tender Room prior to bid submission, with a scanned copy uploaded on the EPADS portal. Bids submitted without the required bid bond or earnest money shall not be entertained.
Technical proposals and financial proposals must be submitted online through the EPADS portal on or before 29 June 2026 at 1200 hours. Technical bids will be evaluated first, and only technically compliant bidders will have their financial proposals opened on a date to be intimated later in the presence of bidders' representatives. Bid documents are available for download from the EPADS portal and the SSGC website at www.ssgc.com.pk. Public bid opening will occur at 1230 hours on the same day online on EPADS.
