Description / Scope of Work
Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites bids for the procurement and installation of 1141 Asset Performance Management System (APMS) units on high AT&C loss feeders across its service territory in Punjab. This works contract aims to enhance asset performance monitoring and reduce technical and commercial losses on distribution feeders. The tender is issued on a national basis under a single-stage, one-envelope bidding process with reference number 23/27. The scope includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of APMS equipment on the identified high-loss feeders within MEPCO's operational area, with work to be executed in accordance with the detailed specifications and bill of quantities provided in the bidding documents.
Bidders must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the bidding document, which includes relevant technical qualifications, past experience with similar projects, and demonstrated financial capacity. Bid security in the form of a Bid Securing Declaration is required from all participating bidders. Prospective contractors should possess appropriate licenses and certifications for undertaking electrical installation and system integration works. Bidders are also required to submit an Integrity Pact and Performance Guarantee Form as part of their bid submission.
Bid documents are available from the office of the Assistant Manager Procurement at MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan.
