Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Ahmad Pur Sial, under the Health & Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites e-bids for the framework contract procurement of local purchase of medicine for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The estimated procurement value is PKR 9,000,000 for supply of pharmaceutical medicines required by the hospital. This is an open competitive bidding process conducted under the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014 (as amended March 10, 2021) and is open to all eligible suppliers, manufacturers, and authorized sales and service dealers.
Eligible bidders must not be under blacklist declaration by any government department or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if they are legally and financially autonomous, operate under commercial law, and are not dependent agencies. Bidders must provide valid business licenses and hold sales tax registration certificates along with NTN documentation. The bid security requirement is 2% of the estimated amount, equivalent to PKR 180,000, which must be submitted on or before 10:00 a.m. on June 27, 2026.
Bidding documents and further information are available on the Punjab PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bid submission must be completed in accordance with the single stage-double envelope procedure. Bids will be opened at 11:00 a.m. on June 27, 2026 in the Office of the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Ahmad Pur Sial, in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
