Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Jhelum, operating under the Local Government and Community Development Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for the supply of goods through a single stage single envelope bidding procedure. This standard form of bidding documents establishes the framework for procurement of supplies and materials required by the municipality in Jhelum district, Punjab province. The bidding process follows transparent and competitive procurement standards with detailed instructions to bidders covering scope, eligibility, documentation requirements, and evaluation criteria to ensure fair competition and value for money.
Eligible bidders must meet specified financial competence requirements, possess valid business registration, and demonstrate relevant past performance and experience in supply of similar goods. Bidders are required to submit bid security as specified in the bid data sheet and furnish comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, financial statements, and integrity pacts. All bids must be prepared in the prescribed format with proper authorization and must comply with the special stipulations outlined in Appendix A to the bidding documents.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of Municipal Committee Jhelum during normal business hours. Sealed bids must be submitted by the deadline specified in the bid data sheet, with bid opening conducted at the Municipal Committee office in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
