Punjab Highway Department invites sealed electronic tenders from registered engineering firms and contractors for the widening of road from Lahore-Ferozpur Road to Challenge Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in District Kasur. The project involves widening a 4.60 kilometer road stretch with an estimated cost of PKR 417.085 million and a completion period of 09 months. This significant infrastructure development project in Punjab aims to improve connectivity to the Challenge SEZ and enhance road capacity in the Kasur district region.
Intending contractors and firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category with a valid renewed PEC License for Financial Year 2025-26. Bidders are required to register on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Earnest money of PKR 20.854 million (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted only in the form of Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) in favour of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Kasur. Bids must be uploaded on the PPRA website at least half an hour before the tender opening date and time, and the original CDR must be physically submitted half an hour before bid opening, failing which the bid will be rejected as non-responsive.
Bid documents and detailed specifications are available on the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.aspx. Bidders must submit bids electronically on or before 26-06-2026. The tender will be opened on 26-06-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Office of Commissioner, Lahore Division, Lahore, where responsive bids will be downloaded and rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Successful bidders must submit a Performance Guarantee of 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receiving the offer letter, valid for three months beyond the completion date.
