Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, Lahore invites prequalification and registration applications from manufacturers, sole agents of foreign principals, and distributors holding valid Drug sale License on Form 11 for the year 2026-27. This procurement process covers petty purchases and limited purchases of medicines, medical devices, surgical disposable items, and implants through quotation on the online e-PADS (e-Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System) portal. The registration is valid until 30th September 2026 and is renewable upon submission of application for the next registration period. Supply is to be made on free delivery basis to the institute in Lahore, Punjab. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Government of Punjab and relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Department, and must comply with the rules of the Government of Punjab regarding procurement of drugs, medicines, and medical devices.
Bidders are required to provide a performance guarantee of Rupees 50,000 in the form of Bank Draft, Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Demand Draft (DD), Pay Order (PO), or Banker's cheque along with their application. The original performance guarantee must be submitted on or before the time of e-Bid opening in addition to the soft copy uploaded on the e-PADS platform. Technical bids are invited for prequalification to ensure eligibility of suppliers. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of opening of bids. Hard copies of e-bids are not required.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the e-PADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. E-bids must be submitted online on or before 25th June 2026 at 11:00 am. E-bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 am in the presence of bidders' representatives. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Medical Superintendent, Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, Ferozpur Road, Lahore during working hours.
