Description / Scope of Work
The Town Municipal Corporation Shah Latifabad invites sealed bids for the open auction of collection rights for various taxes and fees for the financial year 2026-27 (01-07-2026 to 30-06-2027). This procurement encompasses five revenue contracts with a combined estimated value of approximately 18.6 million rupees. The contracts include Advertisement Fee excluding hoardings and steamers valued at 11,035,000 rupees, Conservancy and Sanitation Tax at 2,598,260 rupees, Dangerous and Offensive Fees at 1,725,634 rupees, Electric Motors Horse Power Fee at 655,334 rupees, and Hawker License Fee for Push Carts at 2,491,000 rupees. The auction is being conducted in Shah Latifabad, Sindh under the provisions of Section 96 read with Schedule V Part-II of the Sindh Local Government Act 2013 and the Sindh Local Councils Functioning (Collection rights) Rules 2016.
Eligible applicants must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue or Sindh Revenue Board with active National Tax Number, and must provide three years of verified bank statements. Defaulters cannot participate in the auction. Bidders are required to submit 10 percent security deposit via call deposit or pay order, with the non-refundable enlistment fee set at Rs. 5,000 in cash. Successful bidders must pay applicable Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Professional Tax according to regulations, and provide 11 post-dated cheques dated the 5th of each month.
The open auction will be held on 29-06-2026 (Monday) at 12:00 Noon at the Head Office (Ex-TO I&S Office), Unit No. 9, Latifabad. If the auction is not held on the first date, subsequent auctions will take place on 30-06-2026 and 01-07-2026 respectively at the same time and venue.
