Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council in Islamabad, Federal Government invites electronic bids and proposals for the pre-qualification of experienced firms, workshops, and vendors. The scope of work involves providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services spanning a contract duration of three years. This procurement process is divided into five distinct lots including the repair of official vehicles, building maintenance, IT equipment repair, furniture and fixtures restoration, and machinery repair. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant income tax and sales tax departments, maintain active status on the Federal Board of Revenue Active Taxpayers List, and possess physical workshops, stock, and technical manpower within Islamabad or Rawalpindi. A mandatory bid security of 50,000 Rupees per lot must be submitted via bank draft or pay order. All technical and financial bids must be submitted exclusively via the EPADS portal no later than 10:30 AM on 29 June 2026
Bidders must be registered contractors with the Pakistan Engineering Council or relevant provincial authorities, holding valid business registration and tax clearance certificates. Companies must demonstrate financial soundness with bank statements for the preceding six months and possess valid tendering credentials as per PEC/G-10/4 standards. A bid security of five percent of the estimated value is mandatory for all submissions. Bidders are required to have relevant experience in similar procurements and must provide references from previous government or private sector contracts. All bid documents must be original or notarized copies, and submission must comply with Government Procurement Rules 2009 and PPRA regulations.
Bid documents are available through the Electronic Procurement Information System (E-PADS) at www.eprocure.gov.pk and must be downloaded and submitted electronically before 10:30 AM on June 29, 2026. Hard copies of bids shall be received until 11:00 AM on the same date at the PM&DC office in Islamabad. Bid opening will be conducted at 11:00 AM on June 29, 2026, in the presence of interested bidders.
