Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites electronic bids from eligible contractors duly registered with the Income Tax Department and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR, possessing valid PEC registration in the specified category for Bridge and Culvert Structural Maintenance Works and Hill Slope Stability and Road Protection Works on the Kohala–Muzaffarabad Road (S-2/S-3) in the Muzaffarabad region. Four contracts are offered with an aggregate estimated cost of approximately 143.267 million Pakistani Rupees. Contract EC-AJK-26-S2-01 involves construction of a plum concrete retaining wall over 9+450 kilometres on S-2 with an estimated cost of 96.225 million rupees in the C-4 category. Contract HSSP-AJK-26-S2-01 covers another plum concrete retaining wall construction spanning 24+050 kilometres on S-2 valued at 15.886 million rupees in the C-6 category. Contract BC-AJK-26-S3-01 includes concrete works on Pier-B of Chinari Bridge over 47+500 kilometres on S-3 estimated at 27.955 million rupees in the C-6 category. Contract BC-AJK-26-S3-02 covers rehabilitation and construction of a retaining wall and shoulder over 53+400 kilometres on S-3 valued at 3.201 million rupees in the C-6 category.
Bidders must hold active registration with the Federal Board of Revenue's Income Tax Department and appear on the Active Taxpayers List. Valid PEC registration in the category relevant to each contract is mandatory. Prospective bidders are required to obtain e-PADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately, as manual bid submissions in hard copy format will be eliminated in upcoming procurements. All bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with instructions in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents are available for free download from June 15, 2026 on the designated website. Prospective bidders should monitor the website for any schedule updates or addendums. Bids must be received at the address provided on or before June 29, 2026 at 1200 hours, with technical bid opening scheduled for the same day at 1230 hours.
