Description / Scope of Work
Sealed quotations are invited for the supply of seven categories of industrial materials and equipment for a public sector heavy engineering industry in Punjab. The procurement notice P-04/2026 encompasses the supply of carbon steel and stainless steel plates (approximately 1,298 tons), carbon steel plates and sheets (approximately 574 tons), filled compressed hydrogen gas cylinders on a rate running basis, electrode drying ovens, welding electrodes, welding accessories, and ASTM F1554 Grade 55 rods (approximately 22 tons). The total scope of procurement involves specialized materials and equipment essential for heavy fabrication and welding operations within the public engineering sector.
Quotations must be accompanied by 2% earnest money deposit and submitted to the Director of Procurement no later than 10:00 hours on 29 June 2026 for public opening at 10:30 hours on 30 June 2026. Bid security is required as specified in tender documents. Eligible suppliers must meet technical and financial criteria outlined in the detailed tender specifications. All bids are subject to evaluation and acceptance at the sole discretion of the procuring agency, which reserves the right to reject any or all proposals prior to bid acceptance.
Tender documents containing complete specifications, terms and conditions are available from the office of the Director of Procurement (Monday to Friday) upon written request and payment of tender fee Rs. 1,000 per document (non-refundable) via bank draft or pay order in favour of Tender Fee Fund.
