The Punjab Highway Department invites sealed tenders from eligible Engineering Firms and Contractors for widening of road from Lahore to Ferozepur Road to Challenge interchange on the Lahore-Ferozepur Special Economic Zone road in Kasur, Punjab. This is a significant infrastructure development project with an estimated contract value of PKR 117,080 (in thousands), representing substantial road improvement works in the Kasur district. The contract period is 09 months, with tender documents available for download from the official portal. All intending contractors must be registered on the Punjab Public Procurement Authority (PPRA) website for participation in the e-Tendering System.
Eligible contractors must possess valid renewed PEC licenses for the Financial Year 2025-26 and be classified in the Relevant Category with appropriate codes. As per PPRA Rules 2014, all bidders are required to submit earnest money exclusively in the form of CDR (Cheque Demand Receipt) to the Executive Engineer, Highways Division Kasur, with the amount being fifty percent (50%) of the estimated contract value. A Performance Security Guarantee at ten percent (10%) of the Contract Amount must be submitted by successful bidders within fifteen days of receiving the offer letter in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier's Cheque, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee.
Bid documents can be obtained from the PPRA website (www.ppra.org.pk) and downloaded through the e-procurement portal. Tenders must be submitted online before the opening date and time specified on the portal. Original CDR must be submitted half an hour before opening of bids. The tender opening will be conducted by the Commissioner, Lahore Division on June 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with detailed rates and bid evaluation results announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
