The Lahore Development Authority invites bids for the sustainable development of Gulberg Scheme links along Ghalib Road and Noor Jahan Road in Lahore, Punjab. This comprehensive road development project is estimated at PKR 33,415,777 with a total cost of PKR 35,086,566 including 5% PST. The scope of work encompasses excavation and removal of unsuitable material, dismantling of existing road metalling, PCC and RCC surfaces, compaction of natural ground, embankment construction using borrow earth, provision of WBM base course and subbase course with materials sourced from Kirana Hill and Sikhanwali Quarry in Sargodha, laying of cement concrete plain in 1:2:4 ratio, installation of uPVC sewerage pipes of 6 inch diameter, and raising of manholes with CI rings. The project also includes construction of gully grating chambers and various utilities infrastructure.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to possess valid contractor licenses and technical competence for road and drainage works of similar scale. The earnest money deposit is fixed at PKR 1,754,328, and bidders must submit all required documentation including registration certificates and financial credentials. The project timeline is 02 months for execution from the date of award. Bid security in the form of earnest money must accompany all submissions and is subject to forfeiture for non-compliance or withdrawal of bids within validity period.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer-I, Lahore Development Authority during official working hours. Sealed bids must be submitted at the designated LDA office on or before the closing date of 29 June 2026. Technical and financial bid opening will be conducted on the specified date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
