The Directorate of Farms at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad invites the general public to participate in an open auction of 500 maunds of mustard seeds. The auction will be held on Monday, 29 June 2026 at 10:00 AM at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Punjab. This procurement is issued by the Directorate of Farms to dispose of agricultural produce through a transparent competitive bidding process. Interested bidders are required to examine the mustard seeds on-site prior to bidding, as the sale is conducted on an as-is-where-is basis with no claims accepted after the auction is completed.
Bidders must comply with all specified conditions and regulations. Prior to bidding, each participant must submit a copy of their identity card and pay a non-refundable earnest money of Rs. 500. Additionally, a refundable security deposit of Rs. 10,000 must be deposited before bidding. The successful bidder is obligated to pay all taxes and duties due to the government. Government taxes and levies, calculated at 13 percent of the total successful bid amount or as per government rates, must be cleared following approval by the competent authority. The successful bidder is permitted to collect the auctioned mustard seeds within 20 days of purchase.
In case the auction is unsuccessful on the scheduled date, a second auction will be held on Thursday, 2 July 2026 at 10:00 AM. If the second attempt remains unsuccessful, a third auction will be conducted on Monday, 6 July 2026 at 10:00 AM. The Vice Chancellor and the Directorate of Farms retain the authority to cancel the auction at any discretion. Any disputes arising from the auction will be decided by the Vice Chancellor or a nominated authorized officer, and such decisions cannot be challenged in any court of law.
