Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center, Rawalpindi invites electronic bids for pre-qualification of firms for the procurement of bulk formulary medicines for the financial year 2025-26. The tender is open to manufacturers and sole agents of foreign manufacturers registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax Department of Pakistan. The estimated contract value is PKR 387,004,400 and covers the supply of formulary medicines to support the institute's operations in Rawalpindi, Punjab. Bidders must submit bids for the entire quantity of quoted products; partial quantity bids will be rejected outright. All prequalification documents are available free of cost from the PKLI website at https://pkli.org.pk/tenders/ with detailed product specifications.
Eligible firms must be registered with relevant Pakistani tax authorities and meet the evaluation criteria for eligibility and knock-down requirements. Bid security will be required at the time of the Request for Proposal stage. The prequalification documents must be properly marked, sequentially attached, and signed by an authorized person on each page. Single Stage One Envelope procedure will be followed with electronic submission through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System. A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the conference room of the Supply Chain Department.
Prequalification documents must be submitted electronically by June 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM through E-Pads, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM.
