Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Pirmahal invites sealed electronic bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the procurement and installation of SMD lighting poles at Ghousia Chowk, Pirmahal, Punjab. This infrastructure development scheme has an estimated cost of Rs. 20,000,000 and is being tendered through the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) e-procurement system. The project scope includes supply, delivery, and complete installation of modern energy-efficient SMD (Surface Mounted Device) lighting poles with all associated fixtures and electrical work to enhance public lighting infrastructure in the municipal area.
Intending contractors and firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, and must register on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk to participate in the bidding process. Bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a CDR (Demand Draft) in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Pirmahal, equivalent to five percent of the estimated bid cost and fill rates. All bids shall be submitted through the E-PAD (Electronic Procurement and Auction for Development) system with appropriate documentation and compliance to PPRA Rules 2017 and Local Government (Water and Sanitation) Rules.
Complete electronic bids must be submitted online through the E-PAD system at https://Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 01-07-2026 at 11:30 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 02:00 PM at the Municipal Committee Pirmahal office. Bidders should upload all documents well before the deadline to avoid technical issues, as bid submission on the E-PAD portal is the sole responsibility of the bidder.
