Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & Rural Development Department, Tehsil Kabal District Swat, is inviting sealed tenders for uplifting and beautification schemes across multiple union councils. Project A encompasses installation of street lights at Manja, Totano Banda, Grando Banr, Khair Abad, Deolai, and Shah Dherai, along with construction of street pavements, drains, and toughtile at Totano Bandai, with a combined estimated cost of 50 million rupees. Project B involves installation of street lights at Kabal, Hazara, Aligrama, Kanju, Aligrama Bypass, and Dherai, plus construction of a waiting shed at Tehsil Kabal, totaling 50 million rupees. These infrastructure development works are aimed at improving public facilities and enhancing the aesthetics of communities in District Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible bidders must be government contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the Civil & Works Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy for the financial year 2026-27. Contractors must possess relevant PEC codes EE 11(VV) and EE 11(VI) for the specified works. All bids must include bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipts (CDR) equal to 2% of the estimated cost for each sub-scheme, ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 rupees. Prospective bidders are required to register on the EPADS portal to obtain login credentials, maintain valid PEC and KPRA (Active Tax Payer) registration, and adhere to all KPPRA Act and Rules requirements.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from www.eprocure.gov.pk and the KP-PPRA website following publication of this Notice. Completed bid documents must be scanned and uploaded through EPADS before 11:00 AM on 30th June 2026. Original bid securities must be physically delivered to the office of the Assistant Director, LG&RDD Tehsil Kabal, located at Judicial Complex Kabal District Swat, before the closing deadline. Electronic bid opening will occur at 12:00 PM on the same date. Online clarification requests must be submitted by 05:00 PM on 28th June 2026. Bids remain valid for 120 days from the closing date, and all applicable government taxes will be recovered as per directives.
