Description / Scope of Work
The Superintendent of Sub Jail Jamrud, Sub Jail Bara, and Sub Jail Landikotal in District Khyber, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders for the fiscal year 2026-27 for supply of cooked food, medicines, and other miscellaneous items on a delivery-to-jail-gate basis for convicted prisoners and under-trial prisoners across all three sub-jails. The total tender value is Rs. 20,000,000 (Twenty Million Rupees). This procurement initiative aims to ensure reliable and quality provisions for jail inmates throughout the district.
Only bidders registered with KPPRA (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) and EPADS are eligible to participate in this tender process. Prospective bidders must submit an original Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) equal to 2% of the tender value in the name of the Superintendent Sub Jail Jamrud. The bidder must not be blacklisted by any government department and must possess valid KPPRA, FBR, NTN, and Sales Tax registration certificates. A certificate from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority under Section 15 of the KPFSA and HFA Act 2014 is mandatory for participation. Successful contractors must furnish a Performance Guarantee equal to 8% of the contract value as a bank guarantee in the name of the Superintendent Sub Jail Jamrud.
Interested bidders can obtain tender publication notices via the EPADS website at https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk, the office of the Inspector General of Prisons, and the KPPRA website. The proposed tender form and list of required items are available on the EPADS website. All bidders must submit e-bids through the EPADS website by 29-06-2026 at 10:00 AM, with bids being opened online on the same day at 11:00 AM. The final approval of the tender will be given by the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Peshawar Region.
