The Food Directorate, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed bids for the transportation of wheat and goods under head A03806-001 from Passco Punjab to different Provincial Reserve Centres (PRCs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the first quarter of financial year 2026-27. This tender covers carriage services for food grain distribution to multiple reserve centres throughout the province, with rates to be quoted per ton per kilometre on a net weight basis in Pakistani Rupees. The scope encompasses logistics management from source to final delivery locations as per the approved Distance Chart of the Food Department.
Prospective contractors and firms must meet specified eligibility requirements to participate in this procurement. Bidders are required to possess at least eight trucks registered in their own name or their firm's name, immovable property worth minimum Rs. 30 lacs, a bank balance certificate of not less than Rs. 10 lacs, three years' proven experience in carriage work and food grain handling, and employed labour of not less than 20 to 30 persons. Bid security of Rs. 5,000,000 in the form of irrevocable CDR or SDR from a scheduled bank is mandatory for each PRC and NRC, to be furnished in the name of the Director Food at least 30 minutes before the tender opening. Successful bidders must convert the bid security to Performance Security valid throughout the contractual period.
Sealed bids will be received on 08 July 2026 until 11:00 AM on the E-Pads system and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the Food Directorate office on GT Road, Peshawar, in the presence of bidders and their authorized representatives. A contractor or firm is restricted to bidding for only one zone as indicated in the tender form. Successful bidders must sign the Contract Agreement within 15 days of rate approval. Additional information regarding the tender may be obtained from the Food Directorate, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until one day before the tender deadline. Tenderers must comply with all applicable government taxes including Income Tax, KPRA Sales Tax on Services, Stamp Duty, and DPR Fund.
