Lahore University of Management Sciences invites sealed bids for the procurement of a Thermal Cycler for the SRG1465NRPU-ZAIGHAM Project under the Life Sciences Department in Punjab. The tender is issued on a single stage two envelope basis and is open to authorized distributors and manufacturers. The equipment must meet specific technical requirements including a maximum block ramp rate of 6.0°C/sec for the 96-well block configuration and 5.0°C/sec for the 384-well block, temperature accuracy of ±0.25°C (35–99.9°C), and a temperature range of 0.0–100.0°C for protocol runs. The instrument should feature USB 16GB on-board memory, an 8-inch color TFT LCD display interface, and power specifications supporting both 100–120V ±10% and 200–240V ±10% at 50/60 Hz with maximum consumption of 700W during thermal cycling.
Eligible bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers capable of supplying equipment meeting the stated technical specifications. Bidders are required to submit a non-refundable bid security of Rs. 1,500 in the form of a postal order, pay order, or bank draft drawn in favor of Lahore University of Management Sciences. All quotations must be submitted in DDP Inco Terms in Pakistani Rupees. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked as "Technical Proposals" and "Financial Proposals" and sealed within a single package marked "CONFIDENTIAL" bearing the tender reference number.
Interested bidders should obtain the prescribed bid form on written request from the Procurement Office located at Lahore University of Management Sciences, Opposite Sector U, DHA Lahore, and submit completed bids by 11:00 am on 9 July 2026. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. The bid opening ceremony will take place at 3:30 pm on the same date in the Procurement Office in the presence of bidder representatives.
