Safety Equipment and Accessories for Sewer Cleaning by WASA Multan

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Multan, the primary water and sanitation authority operating in Multan, Punjab, invites sealed electronic bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the procurement and supply of safety equipment and accessories required for sewer cleaning operations in Sub Division New Multan under the Sewerage Division Central. The project scope covers provision of comprehensive safety equipment and accessories for sewer maintenance activities, with an estimated contract value of Rs 2,034,707. This procurement is being conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement (e-PADS) system in accordance with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules, ensuring transparent and competitive bidding for this critical infrastructure support work.

Only firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category codes and enrolled on the Punjab e-PADS portal (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) are eligible to participate. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from Bank of Punjab payable to the Director Finance WASA Multan, equivalent to two percent (2%) of the estimated cost, totalling Rs 40,694. The bid security must be uploaded electronically with the e-bid submission and the original CDR must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Head Clerk at Mumtazahad WASA Office, Multan. All bids must quote rates against each item in figures and words as per DNIT specifications; percentage-based bids will be declared non-responsive. Bids remain valid for 120 days from submission.

Bidding documents containing detailed requirements and terms are available for registered bidders on the e-PADS portal and PPRA website (https://eprae.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx). Electronic bids must be uploaded as PDF files up to 11:00 AM on 30 June 2026. The bid opening ceremony will take place at 11:30 AM the same day at the Director Works WASA office located at 316-A Shamasabad Colony, WASA Head Office, Multan, where the quoted rates of successful bidders will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
