Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Taunsa, operating under the Health & Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed tenders through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for framework contracts related to the local purchase of medicines, surgical disposable items, day-to-day patient supplies, bulk purchases, and Sehat Sahulat Programme for the financial year 2026-27. The total estimated cost of this comprehensive procurement is PKR 39.2 million, covering nine distinct tender categories including medicines, dialysis items, biomedical gases, general store items, laboratory chemicals, stationery and printing materials, bedding and clothing, X-ray films and fixers, and prerequisite work for X-ray machine installation. Bidders must be registered with tax authorities on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue and must meet all eligibility requirements as stipulated in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligible bidders are required to submit bids based on a single-stage two-envelope procedure through EPADS at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost is mandatory for each tender item, ranging from PKR 20,000 for bedding and clothing to PKR 280,000 for medicines. All bidding documents containing detailed specifications, terms and conditions, and estimated costs for each tender can be downloaded from the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Each bid packet must contain two separate envelopes holding the financial proposal and technical proposal respectively, in strict compliance with PPRA rules 2014.
The deadline for submission of bids with the required bid security is 29 June 2026 at 09:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for the same date at 09:30 AM at the office of THQ Hospital Taunsa in the presence of interested bidders or their authorized representatives. Detailed bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA portal. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time prior to acceptance under PPRA rule 35. In case of a public holiday on the opening date, bids will be opened on the next working day.
