HESCO Hyderabad invites sealed bids for the disposal of dirty transformer oil through e-auction under Tender No. RSH171DTO. This tender is issued by the Material Management Directorate of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company Limited, a major power distribution utility in Sindh province. The disposal is conducted on an as-is-where-is basis, with bidders required to inspect the listed stores and satisfy themselves regarding type, quality and condition before tendering. All weighment, counting and loading of the dirty transformer oil will ordinarily be done by the successful bidder.
Bidders must submit sealed earnest money or bid security in the form of CDR or bank guarantee from any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan, valid for 120 days, in favour of the Chief Executive Officer HESCO Hyderabad. The earnest money must be in the bidder's own name; cash deposits in other names will result in bid rejection by the Disposal Committee. Bids not supported by the required earnest money will be summarily rejected. All government taxes as per Federal Board of Revenue rules and regulations will be payable on the offered price. Bidders must undertake that their firm is not blacklisted by NGC, WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs or any government department or organization.
Full payment must be made unconditionally within 21 working days from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance, failing which earnest money will be forfeited with no claim against HESCO. Upon deposit of the full amount with the Material Management Directorate, a Release Order will be issued authorizing collection of the dirty transformer oil from the relevant store. The successful bidder must remove all oil from the site within 21 working days of receiving the release order; failure to do so will result in rental charges at 1% per day of the total disposed oil value. The bid offer remains valid for 120 days or as specified in the tender schedule. Each page of the undertaking must be signed and stamped by the bidder.
