Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Sindh, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department is procuring goods and services for cultural activities during the fiscal year 2026-27. This comprehensive procurement initiative encompasses ten distinct cultural programmes with a total estimated cost of 495 million Pakistani rupees allocated across all quarters. The activities include promotion of cultural activities, Sindh crafts and designs promotion, art festivals, shrines of hazrats, theatre festivals, folk studio production, Lok Virsa participation, and Pakistan Day parade celebrations, reflecting the department's commitment to cultural preservation and promotion across the province.
The procurement process is governed by the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 as amended to date. A Procurement Committee has been constituted under Rules 7 and 8, chaired by Mr. Muhammad Saleem Solangi, Director (Culture), with Mr. Adil Ahmed Dayo as Member/Secretary and Mr. Ashfaque Ahmed Patoli as Member from the School Education & Literacy Department. The committee is responsible for preparing bidding documents, evaluating technical and financial bids, and making recommendations for contract awards in accordance with established procurement regulations.
Bidders seeking to participate must obtain complete bidding documents from the designated procurement committee. The submission deadline for bids is 8 July 2026.
