Description / Scope of Work
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad, invites sealed bids for the procurement of services related to refurbishment and renovation works across multiple campus locations. The three activities comprise refurbishment of the old computer lab into an Executive Conference Room at AIOU Main Campus, refurbishment of old lab into a Clerical Room at AIOU Main Campus, and refurbishment of Committee Rooms at the Directorate of Regional Services Building at AIOU Main Campus in Islamabad. The work is categorized under CES (Civil Engineering Services) with an estimated project value reflecting interior renovation and structural improvements as per the building documents of respective activities.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026-27 with sufficient experience in executing turnkey projects of refurbishment and interior decoration. Bidders should possess relevant licenses, regulatory approvals, and procurement guidelines compliance. Bid security in the form of bank drafts or guarantees is required as specified in the respective bidding documents. All technical submissions must comply with the instructions issued by AIOU and procurement regulations.
Bid documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and technical specifications for each activity are available for download from the e-PPOGS portal at https://epos.gpp.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PPOGS on or before 1530 hours PST on the closing date as specified in the respective procurement activity. The bid opening will be held at 1100 hours PST through e-PPOGS in the presence of bidders' representatives at the Meeting Room, New ICT Building, AIOU Main Campus.
