Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, is inviting bids for the framework contract procurement of medical gases for the financial year 2026-27. This is a significant procurement tender with an estimated contract value of Rs. 25,000,000. The scope includes supply of various medical gases required for cardiology treatment and patient care at the institute's facility on Rawal Road, Rawalpindi. The tender follows a competitive bidding process and requires bidders to submit comprehensive technical and financial proposals.
Eligible bidders must possess minimum one year of experience in supplying to government or autonomous institutions. Mandatory requirements include valid manufacturing or production license for medical gases from the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), or valid import authorization and registration certificates for imported gases. Bidders must hold a valid Hydro testing Certificate issued by the Ministry of Explosives with an in-house hydro testing laboratory for high-pressure cylinders. Importantly, firms must have an oxygen production facility situated in Punjab province to ensure timely emergency deliveries. Additional documentation required includes valid National Tax Number, General Sale Tax certificate, Professional Tax certificate, and NADRA National ID Card. Bid security of 2% of estimated price (Rs. 25,000,000) must be submitted as a fresh Call Deposit Receipt in the name of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi.
