Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology invites walk-in registration of local purchase on day-to-day vendors (LPDD) for supply of medicines, surgical items and disposables for the period July to September 2026. This procurement is issued under the direction of the Procurement Wing, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab, following guidelines SO(P-I)/H/LP Guidelines/2023 dated 9th January 2023. The registration is open to registered pharmacies located within a maximum radius of 10 kilometers from the institute in Rawalpindi, and interested bidders are invited to participate in the walk-in interview scheduled for 03-07-2026 at 10:30 am at the purchase office of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawal Road, Rawalpindi.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to hold a valid Drug Sale License Form-9 from an authorized drug licensing authority, possess a valid CNIC and active National Income Tax number, maintain an office with regular staff and a qualified pharmacist available round the clock, demonstrate a minimum one year experience in selling medicines and surgical disposables, and provide an affidavit attested by notary public confirming non-involvement in spurious or sub-standard supplies. Applicants must submit a performance guarantee of Rs. 30,000 (refundable), which will be converted to performance security after registration and returned upon satisfactory performance at the end of the registration period if not extended further. Warranty must be provided in accordance with the Drug Act 1976 and DRAP Act 2012 and their rules.

Documents must be submitted electronically via EPADS (EPak Acquisition and Disposal System) by 03-07-2026 at 11:00 am, and the original bid security of Rs. 30,000 must be submitted to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology before the closing time.
