Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed bids for repair and maintenance work on a pedestrian bridge near Airline Society on Khayaban-e-Jinnah Road in Lahore, Punjab. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 3,516,109 plus 16% PST, totaling Rs. 4,078,686 with an earnest money deposit of Rs. 203,934. The work includes excavation and removal of unsuitable material, compaction of natural ground, laying of granular sub-base course, installation of tuff paver tiles in grey and color, provision of precast edge kerb stones with painting, placement of PCC concrete, scraping and removal of old paint, application of polyurethane epoxy paint on metal surfaces, installation of stainless steel hand rails, small ironwork including gusset plates and stirrups, cement plaster work, and application of weather shield paint on external surfaces. The time limit for completion is one month from the date of commencement.
Bidders must be registered and licensed contractors with relevant experience in bridge repair and maintenance works. The bid security in the form of earnest money as specified must accompany each bid submission. Bidders should ensure compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards as outlined in the bid documents and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. All work must be completed to the satisfaction of the LDA's inspection and quality control requirements.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the Chief Engineer-I at LDA before the specified closing date, with opening of bids on the same date as prescribed.
