Description / Scope of Work
State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan invites sealed bids for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of air-conditioning units and fans at the 3rd and 4th floors of the Zonal Office State Life Building in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab. The scope of work includes three inverter split air-conditioning units of 1.5 TR (18000 BTU/HR) capacity, two units of 2 TR (24000 BTU/HR) capacity with fully hermetic compressors using R 410/R32 refrigerant gas, complete wall-mounted installation with copper tubing, aluminum fins, electronic thermostats, and condensate drainage arrangements. The procurement also includes two ceiling fans of 18 inches and one bracket fan of 14 inches. All equipment must withstand ambient temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius and bear manufacturer warranties for compressor (10 years) and parts (4 years). The contract reference is HR&A/RYK//04/2026.
Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 30,000 in the form of a CDR, Demand Draft, or Pay Order in favor of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan. Eligible contractors should physically visit both floors to understand technical requirements including hole-making and connections to existing points. All quoted rates must be inclusive of taxes, GST, profit margins, and labor charges. The contract period for completion of work is twenty-five days from the date of award acceptance, with liquidated damages of Rs. 25,000 per day up to 10 percent of the contract amount for delays. Payment is 100 percent upon successful completion and installation as certified by the Procurement Department.
Bid documents are available for collection at the State Life Insurance Corporation Zonal Office in Rahim Yar Khan. Sealed bids must be submitted by the closing date with all required documentation and technical specifications. The contractor is required to provide three years free replacement of compressors and one year free replacement of parts, with any operational faults to be rectified by the contractor during the entire guarantee period.
