Description / Scope of Work
Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed electronic bids from eligible and registered contractors for the procurement of a comprehensive range of electrical equipment and materials required for power distribution and infrastructure development in Punjab. The tender encompasses multiple items including 50 KVA and 100 KVA distribution transformers, steel structures, D-shackle assemblies, LT CT current transformers, power cables of various specifications, permutation kits, ACSR conductors, PVC cables, meter security boxes, connectors, and nuts and bolts of different sizes. The total estimated value of the procurement spans multiple bid lots with guarantees ranging from approximately 69,700 to 3,147,320 Pakistani Rupees. All materials and services must be procured using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004 and GEPCO procurement guidelines.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with the relevant tax and trade authorities and submit proof of valid business registration. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a pay order, banker's cheque, call deposit or bank guarantee issued in the name of the Chief Executive Officer of GEPCO. The bid security amount is clearly specified for each tender lot in the bidding documents. Bidders must remain registered on the E-PADs v2.0 portal and are required to electronically submit their bids without any physical exchange of documents. Late submissions, conditional bids, or bids lacking required guarantees will be rejected as non-responsive.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, technical specifications and submission requirements are available on the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk. Bidders must register themselves on EPADS v2.0 before the tender closing time. Bid security must remain valid for twenty-three days beyond the bid validity date. The bid closing date is July 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date. For further information, contact the office of the Manager (MM) at GEPCO during official office hours. All uploaded documents to the EPADS v2.0 website should include the firm's name and brief description in the filename.
