Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites competitive bids for 128 routine maintenance contracts covering National Highway N-25 and N-40-I in the Balochistan North Region, with a total estimated value exceeding 450 million Pakistani rupees. These contracts encompass systematic maintenance operations on critical highway sections from kilometer 545 to 814 on N-25, including the Kuchlak Western Bypass extension, and from kilometer 0 to 120 on N-40-I. The scope includes routine preservation works designed to maintain pavement condition, ensure safe traffic operations, and extend highway asset life across the Balochistan North Region, with work contracts ranging from one million to 25 million rupees per individual package.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department of Pakistan and maintain active status on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List. All contractors must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 with specialization codes CE01, CE10, or CE23 as applicable to their contract scope. Bid security requirements and technical qualification criteria are specified in the tender documents, and bidders are required to demonstrate prior experience and financial capability to execute routine maintenance operations on national highways.
