Purchase of medicines, surgical items and diagnostic equipment by Gilgit-Baltistan

The Medical Superintendent, Gilgit-Baltistan announces two tender notices for procurement of essential medical supplies and equipment. The first tender (Sr. 1) is for local purchase of medicines, surgical items, films and diagnostic equipment including X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and mammography machine with lab items, with a CDR amount of 350,000 Pakistani rupees and scope limited to supplies headed by the Civil Hospital Gilgit in Gilgit-Baltistan province. The second tender (Sr. 2) pertains to local purchase of medicine and surgical items specifically for the Prime Minister Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP), with a CDR amount of 800,000 Pakistani rupees. Both tenders are scheduled for opening on 10 July 2026, with bid submissions closing on the same date. Bids for the first scheme must be submitted by 10:00 AM with opening at 10:30 AM, while bids for the second scheme close at 11:00 AM with opening at 11:30 AM. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant pharmaceutical and medical equipment authorities, hold valid vendor registration certificates, and possess requisite licenses. Bid security requirements must be fulfilled as per tender specifications. Interested vendors may obtain complete tender documents from the Civil Hospital Gilgit office during specified hours. All submissions must be made to the designated office, and tender evaluation will follow Government of Gilgit-Baltistan procurement regulations and general terms and conditions applicable to medical supply procurement in the region.
