Description / Scope of Work
Shaheed Uzair Mehmood THQ Hospital Jand, located in District Attock, Punjab, invites sealed bids for seven framework contracts covering procurement of essential medical supplies and consumables for the financial year 2026-27. The tender encompasses day-to-day local purchase and emergency procurement of medicines and surgical/disposable items (4.0 million rupees), dialysis supplies for UHI and regular budget (0.4 million rupees), X-ray films and radiology accessories (1.0 million rupees), pathology and laboratory materials (1.8 million rupees), dental items (1.0 million rupees), printing material items (1.0 million rupees), and medical gases from regular budget (0.3 million rupees), totalling approximately 9.5 million rupees. All procurement shall be conducted through Punjab e-Procurement portal of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) using open competitive bidding procedures.
Eligible bidders include manufacturers, authorized sales and service dealers, and suppliers registered on Punjab e-Procurement. Bidders must not have been associated with the procuring agency as consulting service providers for tender preparation. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if legally and financially autonomous under commercial law. Each package requires a bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost submitted as CDR, pay order, demand draft, or banker's cheque from a scheduled bank. Bidders must provide tax registration certificates and quote prices inclusive of all applicable taxes, duties and levies.
Bidding documents are available free of cost on https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk from the notice date until 27 August 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids must be submitted electronically on Punjab e-Procurement by 27 August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day.
