Women & Children Hospital in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed tenders from qualified vendors for local purchase and supply of medicines, surgical disposables, non-surgical items, and diagnostics services during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement is conducted under the Sehat Sahulat Program to provide medicines and laboratory tests on discount basis to patients round the clock on a day-to-day basis. Bidders must submit offers for all types of medicines, surgical items, and diagnostic services with the highest possible discounts on maximum retail prices and standard market rates respectively. The tender notice is published through the Director of Information, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in leading newspapers of general circulation across the province. Bidding is conducted through single stage single envelope procedure as per KPPRA rules 2014.
Eligibility criteria require vendors to be registered on the Active Tax Payer List of FBR with valid GST registration, hold a valid Drugs Sale License under KP Drug Sales Rules 1982 as amended in 2017, and maintain their own medical store or laboratory unit within 100 meters of the hospital premises. The vendor must be licensed under the Drugs Act 1976, registered with Health Care Commission if providing laboratory services, and possess at least one year of experience operating under the Sehat Sahulat Program. For oxygen refilling services, bidders must be registered with KPRA. Earnest money in the form of a demand draft or CDR is required with all offers. Vendors blacklisted or suspended by the Health Department Government of KP will not be considered.
Bidding documents are available to registered bidders on E-PADS portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Quotations must be computer typed and printed with rates written in both figures and words, signed and stamped by an authorized person of the bidding entity. All medicines and items must be of good quality with warranty certificates acceptable to ward consultants and hospital administration. Offers must strictly conform to tender terms and conditions framed under KPPRA Act and rules of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. No negotiations on quoted rates are allowed under KPPRA rules 2014. Offers received after the closing date, unsigned tenders, conditional offers, or those without proper earnest money will not be entertained.
