Description / Scope of Work
The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of DHA Expressway located on Turnkey Basis in Punjab. This major infrastructure project involves design and construction of a 7.5 kilometre long, 150 feet wide, 6-lane expressway with a contract value of Rs. 2,500 million. The scope encompasses comprehensive assessment of the present road structure, rehabilitation of all damaged sections, full-depth recarpeting with asphalt overlay, complete storm water drainage system installation, third-party vetting and structural stability verification, road markings and safety barriers, horticulture development with rain harvesting and water supply systems for road medians, and all ancillary works. The project is being undertaken in consultation with DHA Authority to ensure complete functional delivery upon handover.
Eligible bidders must be PEC and DHA registered contractors or firms in Category C-1 and above with specialization CE-01 or CE-10. Bid security of Rs. 20 million via CDR or bank draft is required, along with a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 25,000. The completion period is fixed at 12 months, and bidding documents must be submitted as single-stage two envelope sealed bids as per DHA and PEC registration requirements.
Bidding documents can be collected from 22 June 2026 to 24 June 2026 during office hours at the CE Branch, DHA Head Office. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 30 June 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Bids must be submitted by 14 July 2026 at 11:30 AM, with opening on the same date.
