Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Gujar Khan, located in Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible firms and agencies for a framework contract to purchase and supply laboratory items and blood bank consumables for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is divided into four lots: Hematology items valued at 3.5 million rupees, Devices at 2.5 million rupees, Miscellaneous items at 1.5 million rupees, and Lab Testing Kits at 2.0 million rupees, with a combined estimated value of 9.5 million rupees. The contract will be supplied on a free delivery to consignee's end basis directly to the hospital. Funds have been allocated by the Government of Punjab Health Department under the relevant Head of Account for this purpose during the financial year 2026-27.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, importers, distributors, or sole agents holding valid income tax and sales tax registration from the Federal Board of Revenue and must be included in the active taxpayer list. Bidders shall not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices by any government, local body, or public sector organization. Bid security equivalent to five percent of the estimated cost of each lot must be submitted in the form of a CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. Both electronic upload and physical submission of bid security documents are required.
Bidding documents are available for free download from https://eprocure.gov.pk and also on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically only through EPADS; manual submission is not permitted. A representative of the bidding firm must submit the hard copy of bid security to the office of the Medical Superintendent on or before 08-07-2026 at 09:30 a.m. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 a.m. by the Procurement Committee in the presence of bidder representatives. The bid validity period is till 30 June 2027, extendable for three months depending on performance.
