Pakistan Maritime Museum invites sealed tenders from experienced and technically sound parties, firms and contractors of repute for the installation and commissioning of a hybrid solar system at the museum premises located in Karachi, Sindh. The project scope encompasses the complete setup and operational commissioning of the hybrid solar energy system to support the museum's power requirements. This is a technical procurement aimed at enhancing the museum's infrastructure with renewable energy capabilities.
Bidders must be experienced contractors with sound technical credentials and proven capacity to deliver solar energy systems. The tender requires submission of a bank draft or pay order of Rs. 20,000 as refundable bid security in favor of the PMM Improvement Fund; cheques will not be accepted. Interested parties should obtain the tender documents containing detailed specifications and work descriptions from Pakistan Maritime Museum on any working day between 1000 and 1400 hours before the closing date against a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000. Technical and financial bids must be sealed in separate envelopes and clearly marked.
Both technical and financial bids sealed in separate envelopes with clearly typed labels and the firm or contractor's name must reach the Pakistan Maritime Museum at Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road, Karsaz, Karachi by 22 July 2026. Tender opening will take place at 1100 hours on the same date in the presence of firms' representatives who wish to attend. Quotations will remain valid for 90 days after tender opening.
