Description / Scope of Work
Government Postgraduate College Kohat, under the Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders from registered and reputed firms for the supply and installation of a 10 kilowatt solar system at the college premises in Kohat. The project, titled Solarizing GPGC Kohat: 10 KW Solar System Procurement and Installation, is being procured through pupil's fund under single stage, single envelope bidding procedure as per KPPRA Rules 2014. This is a renewable energy initiative aimed at reducing the institution's operational costs and environmental footprint.
Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities and demonstrate reputable standing in the solar energy or electrical equipment supply sector. Bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the bid value must be submitted in the form of a bank draft or call deposit made in favour of the Principal, Government Postgraduate College Kohat. Firms blacklisted by Federal, Provincial, or Autonomous bodies will be deemed non-responsive and automatically disqualified. All quoted rates must be inclusive of applicable taxes, which will be deducted from final payment bills.
Complete bidding documents are available for download from the official KPPRA website at www.kppra.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of Government Postgraduate College Kohat, Kohat, by 11:00 AM on August 24, 2026, and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
