Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), a State-Owned Enterprise under the Federal Ministry of Industries and Production, invites proposals from reputable Event Management Firms to provide comprehensive event management services for the inauguration ceremony of Karachi Industrial Park (KIP) – Federal SEZ in Karachi, Sindh. The project encompasses approximately 6,409 acres of Pakistan Steel Mills land dedicated for industrial and sectoral development under the flagship Uran Pakistan initiative. The scope of work includes professional event planning and coordination, protocol management for high-ranking government officials, venue setup and arrangements, media management, branding, logistics, and execution of all activities associated with the inauguration event.
Bidders must be registered with PPRA on EPADS and hold Active Taxpayer status with relevant tax authorities. The firm must not be blacklisted or involved in litigation with any government organization. Mandatory qualification requires successful organization and execution of at least three inauguration events involving Prime Minister, Head of State, Governor, Chief Minister or equivalent-level dignitaries within the last ten years, with demonstrated expertise in protocol and security requirements for high-ranking officials. Bid security of PKR 1 million in the form of pay order or demand draft is required with the technical proposal.
Proposals must be submitted through PPRA EPADS on a Single Stage One Envelope basis comprising Technical and Financial components by 09.07.2026 until 14:30 hours. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 30.06.2026 at 11:00 hours at PIDC House, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi. Proposals will be opened on the same day at 15:00 hours, and evaluation will follow Quality- and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) methodology.
