Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) invites electronic bids for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 30 KW hybrid solar power system for the PIDC Project Office building located at Bin Qasim Industrial Park in Karachi, Sindh. This is a comprehensive project that includes all aspects of system design, procurement, installation and commissioning to ensure operational readiness of the solar installation. The procurement agency reserves the right to select the most advantageous bid following thorough evaluation of both technical and financial proposals submitted by bidders.
Bidders must be well-reputed firms or companies registered on E-PADS (Electronic-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) with similar nature experience in solar power systems. All bidders are required to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above and must be active taxpayers registered with relevant tax authorities. A refundable bid security of PKR 50,000 is mandatory and must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), pay order, or bank security from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan or foreign bank counter-guaranteed by a Pakistani scheduled bank, or from an insurance company with at least AA rating from PACR or VIS. The scanned copy of bid security shall accompany the technical bid on EPADS, while the original must be submitted to PIDC before the submission deadline.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from PPRA or PIDC websites at https://eprocure.gov.pk or www.pidc.com.pk/tenders/. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 01-07-2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Project Office, Bin Qasim Industrial Park, DSIE Pakistan Steel Mill, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. Interested bidders must submit bids electronically through E-PADS on or before 13-07-2026 till 11:00 a.m. using Single Stage One Envelope format. Bids will be opened through PPRA EPADS on the same day at 11:30 a.m., and delayed, conditional or telegraphic bids will not be entertained. Quoted prices must be inclusive of all taxes.
